The purpose of the Education Workgroup is to inform public and professional audiences about Nebraska's birds and their conservation needs,
and develop strategies for encouraging wider public participation in bird conservation activities within Nebraska.

| The Education Workgroup is in the process of compiling the results of several public surveys and educational/resource professional surveys. Additionally, an Education Workshop was held on Feb 10, 2005, for which education and resource professionals from across the state gathered to prioritize the current bird conservation education needs of the state, and discuss tactics for meeting those needs. Once all of these results are compiled and prioritized, the workgroup will draw up an education plan and starting working on projects to meet the highest priority needs. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
