Nebraska Bird Partnership

The Partnership's Science Advisory Workgroup compiled a list of Nebraska Birds by Habitat for the purpose of evaluating the importance of each of Nebraska's major habitats to breeding, migrating, and wintering birds.  The Science Advisory Workgroup also determined conservation status rankings, which were later used to identify at-risk bird species during development of the Nebraska Natural Legacy Project, our state's plan for conserving our native flora and fauna for future generations.
