All-Bird Conservation

"A Nebraska where all birds and their habitats are conserved through partnerships"

Mission--The Nebraska Partnership for All-Bird Conservation will promote a coordinated, science-based, landscape approach to voluntary land stewardship that will conserve, improve, and expand habitat for all bird species. An ecosystem-based approach will be supported through partnerships that respect the importance of sustainable communities and are unified by a common need for communication, education, and a broader appreciation for the diversity of bird habitats and associated bird species within Nebraska.

The Annual Plan of Operations

The NPABC held its first Annual Strategy Session on June 2, 2005. Representatives from the Steering Committee, all six workgroups, and the Support Group were in attendance. The result of this meeting was the development of our official Annual Plan of Operations (APO). All aspects of this plan were thoroughly discussed by those present at the meeting, and the Steering Committee voted to accept the APO with the amendments made during the meeting. The APO is a bold, ambitious, but achievable plan, and it will be exciting to see how much we can accomplish in the next several months. The APO is revised and updated during quarterly meetings of the Steering Committee. The version number is listed in the file name as year.edition.
